September 2009 Meeting Announcement
“Generally Accepted Records-Keeping Principles” with ARMA International president-elect Nick De Laurentis
Nick De Laurentis, president-elect of ARMA International, will address the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of ARMA on Tuesday, 15 September, 2009. His topic will be “Generally Accepted Records-Keeping Principles”. Mr. De Laurentis has long been an active member of ARMA, holding various offices and committee positions. Nick also currently serves on the Member & Practice Support Committee and chairs the Strategic Planning Task Force.
The meeting will be held at the Cincinnati Insurance Companies, 6200 South Gilmore Road, Cincinnati, OH. It includes lunch and starts at 11:30 a.m. The charge is $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Mr. De Laurentis is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Nick works in the Systems Technology – Enterprise Content Management area of State Farm at their Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, IL. There he serves as a technical analyst and leader of the Information Retention Infrastructure and Services team – providing analytical, consulting, and research expertise on enterprise records and information management (RIM) initiatives. Nick has spent over 10 years designing, developing and delivering numerous internal applications, tools, and training on numerous RIM topics.
DIRECTIONS: From I-71 and from I-75 - Take exit for I-275 westbound to exit 39, Fairfield/Forest Park. Cincinnati Mills will be on the right side. Pass the mall to signal light. This is the tallest building on the same side as the mall. The sign in front of the building reads Cincinnati Financial Corporation. Visitor parking is in front of the building.
