September 2010 Meeting Announcement
The next meeting of the Greater Cincinnati ARMA Chapter will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
Back to School, and Back to Work! Are you ready for a new year meeting your Records Management challenges?
Our first presentation of this session will be How to Promote Your Records Management Program. The presentation will be facilitated by a panel of our own Chapter members, Eric French, Janice Schulz, yours truly and perhaps, YOU?
The panel will discuss creative ideas for marketing your program and will discuss identification of your objectives, your strengths and how they can be presented as an asset to your customers. Do you have any examples of how you have promoted your program you'd like to share? We'd love to have 'real life' examples to share with all our membership. Have you prepared unique items for Records and Information Management Month? Training, on-line presentations, handouts, give aways? How do you catch the eyes and ears of your management and coworkers? You can join the panel, or just send us examples of items you've prepared and we'll add them to the presentation.
The meeting will be held at the Cincinnati Insurance Companies, 6200 South Gilmore Road, Cincinnati, OH. It includes lunch and starts at 11:30 a.m. The charge is $15 for members, $20 for non-members. DIRECTIONS: From I-71 and from I-75 - Take exit for I-275 westbound to exit 39, Fairfield/Forest Park. Bass Pro Shop is in the mall on the right side. Pass the mall to signal light. Cincinnati Insurance is the tallest building on the same side as the mall. The sign in front of the building reads Cincinnati Financial Corporation. Visitor parking is in front of the building.
